My best friend sent this to me for my birthday and I love it!
Its Laura Gellers spackle. It works wonders with makeup.I use it after applying moisturiser and then apply the foundation on top.The spackle makes your face ready for foundation,it smoothes out your skin. Its oil free and holds makeup in place. My makeup slides off my face so I always have to re-apply but this should solve my problem

Thanks Vintage Bunny for letting me guest blog on here.
I bought a new shampoo a while ago which I thought was reasonably priced (£2.99). As it seems to be available in Australia, Canada, the Middle East, India, and the USA, I thought it was worthwhile sharing it. I have paid a lot more for mediocre shampoos so I thought this was a good buy.
When I am in Spain, I have good hair days. I spend a lot of time outdoors, my hair dries naturally outside, and the water - although hard - is not too bad. In Gibraltar I live in a flat so end up inside, the water is desalinated, and as it is a city there is more pollution - especially if the wind is blowing in the wrong direction bringing all the chemicals from the oil refinery just over the border in Spain. Similar problems to the ones I experienced in the UK - and resulting in gloomy droopy hair.
So I was well surprised that this shampoo smells fresh, gives a good lather, and leaves my long hair glossy, wavy, and thick (as much as it ever is) for quite a few days.
It also ticked a lot of boxes for me, which is why I tried it. It is:
*free from artificial perfumes and colours
*contains no animal derived ingredient
*free from detergent soaps
*it has a not tested on animals symbol
*for every sale it donates money to two charities.
Here is their site.
Based on this, I will be trying more of their products.

You know me really well by now and you know that I like stuff really cheap.
Hold that thought........
We generally fly by Delta anywhere we go.On the international segments the little toiletries bag that they give you contains L'Occitane products.Thats when I fell in love.
I did try shopping for them but they are so high. But Luck was on my side.We have a local store that buys overstock etc and they had over a million lipbalms, hand cream etc.Obviously unloaded by Delta. The expiry date is next year so I stocked up.I wont need any for a long time !!
Shea Butter Lip Balm Stick $10.00
It is so moisturising and helps with dry lips.I always keep one in all my bags.
Shea Butter Mini Hand Cream $10.00
This is a best seller
Cream glides on and miraculously absorbs to help heal and protect dry or dehydrated skin. believe me these are not empty promises,I like washing dishes by hand sometimes and I hate the dry look but this cream gets rid of it really quickly!
I have seen some sellers on ebay selling them but please check on the expiry date if you plan on buying some on ebay.

I was very suprised to learn that a lot of women do not feel comfortable using liquid eyeliner. This should make it a breeze!
Very Sexy® Makeup by Victorias Secret
Liquid Liner Pen
Felt-tip eye liner provides long-lasting liquid color with the ease of pencil application
$12.00
I have not used it but I use eyemakeup from India most of the time.
This is what I use.Its a felt tip applicator too and it works great.
The funny part is that both eyeliners say Imported!I know the Indian eyeliners are made in Italy!Would' nt it be funny if they were manufactured at the same place!!!

I have always been a fan of glycerin soaps.I dont know why but their smell and transparent look has always attracted me
Two great soaps that I have used are
Pears soap
I was trying to look up Pears for some background history and was astonished to find out that it is now produced in India!!!
Pears Soap is made from pure ingredients - glycerin, natural oils, rosemary, cedar and thyme. It contains no animal fat nor is it tested on animals. Each bar is mellowed and aged for three months until it reaches a pure transparency. This unique aging process, followed for nearly 200 years, makes Pears Soap extremely long lasting and a treat to use every day.
Neutrogena soap
This soap has no harsh detergents, dyes or hardeners. It removes excess oil without leaving any residue.
